Shane Phillips, originally from the U.S., has devoted nearly two decades to the daily practice of Iyengar Yoga. His path was shaped by deep familial ties and an immersive training experience guided by mentors who accelerated his growth. Studying under the Iyengar family of senior teachers in Los Angeles, he continues to refine his practice with them and other senior international teachers.
Since moving to Paris in 2022, Shane has cultivated a thriving community across multiple studios. Teaching in English—honoring the Iyengar tradition within a French setting—he offers a space where longtime students and newcomers practice side by side. Many have followed his teaching for years, while others quickly find themselves at home in this evolving network.
With a focus on precision, consistency, and self-awareness, Shane empowers students to build confidence and deepen their connection to the practice.
